Being high-vibe is an essential priority for me, and there is no denying that I love elements of design and beautiful things. I was in retail for 15 years and have been a shopper since birth (my mother loved shopping). I love product and it brings me joy.
I’m starting this series to inspire you to find the things that bring you joy — maybe it’s a particular product, a person, an animal, a plant. Please take a moment every day to recognize and feel into the feeling of joy! Being in a place of joy has a vibrational frequency that will positively impact your life and the lives of those around you.
I’m always looking for pretty and inspirational journals. These journals from Promptly are so lovely. Promptly has created journals with a wide range of prompts, from a couple’s journal to journaling on fertility to gratitude. While I often love downloading my thoughts, sometimes having a prompt brings me to an essential idea or shift. These prompts are thoughtful, and the journals are beautiful.
I love bath salts and have a running list of favorites, which I’ll share over the coming months. As an empath, or highly sensitive person, it’s vital I take lots of baths high in Epsom salts. I found this one on my recent trip to the Catskills from one of my favorite shops, Clove & Creek. This one makes me think of the West — desert lavender, sage. I will mix with regular Epsom salts to give the special salts longevity.

Clove & Creek also had this cute hat! I’m not much of a hat person as I always feel like they make me look shorter (hey there limiting belief). But, this hat is a reminder and brings me closer to manifesting my next big dream — building our home on our land in the Catskills. So, it’s mine now!
Now that temperatures are higher in NYC, my original masks are no longer working; having a sweaty face is not cute. I’ve opted for these pretty sustainable masks by Christy Dawn. I recommend ordering the children’s size if you have a hard time keeping masks on your face. A sliding mask on your face brings the same annoyance as socks sliding off your foot in your shoe.
I’ve also been on the hunt for a new refreshing summer beverage. While I’m a fan of iced tea and lemon on hot days, I’ve fallen in love with this hard kombucha by June Shine. I’m not a beer drinker, and I love natural organic wine, but sometimes wine makes me sleep; this hard kombucha is made of natural ingredients and is gluten-free. I’ve also fallen for these cookies! Instead of buying boxed cookies, Brian and I have been enjoying freshly baked vegan cookies every night. Just slice a few cookies off the roll (think upgraded Pillsbury) and eat them warm right out of the oven. Available to order online if I haven’t made them out of stock.
After a day in the sun, and while eating warm cookies, I’m watching NEW episodes of Unsolved Mysteries on Netflix. Have you checked it out? So good! I love the premise of this show. They share stories of unresolved cases hoping new information will bring closure to the families. I highly recommend watching and sharing with others.
And last but not least, my dog, Brinkley, brings me so much joy. Her carefree attitude and simple priorities always help me remember to live in the NOW, that NOW is the most impactful moment.
